Discover the great and the good of Fylde’s countryside and parishes on one of our tranquil guided walks. Whether you live down the road or coming from afar, you’ll be amazed at Fylde’s natural beauty and diversity. These really are hidden gems.

One of our most tranquil, picturesque and historic walks. Take in Fylde’s agricultural heartland, leaving the peaceful village of Treales and heading east towards Salwick before joining the banks of the canal for a short walk along the fascinated and idyllic Lancaster Canal. The walk also passes two of the boroughs finest country pubs! Some undulating terrain and styles involved – for abled walkers. Please bring your own refreshments and wear appropriate footwear. £1 per person – cash only on the day.

Meet at the Hand and Dagger pub car park, Treales Road, Salwick, Preston, PR4 0SA. BOOKING ESSENTIAL! To book on this free event, or for more information, call 01253 658469 or email rangers@fylde.gov.uk.
