Headliner the outstanding Paul Tonkinson!
A sensational live performer, Yorkshire man, marathon runner and former (double award-winning) Time Out Comedian of the Year, Paul Tonkinson has long upheld his esteemed reputation as one of the finest stand-ups the UK has to offer. With a unique and distinctive style, Tonkinson is noted for his effervescent physicality and skillful impressions, which bring alive exuberant, tender comic reflections on love, family and the day-to-day idiosyncrasies of 21st century living. A plethora of first class material, combined with tremendous charm and irrepressible, infectious energy make for quite a formidable talent. Following his own 50 date solo tour, he was given the opportunity to play to a wider audience, joining the mighty Michael McIntyre as a special guest on live shows around the UK. In 2013 he had the honour of joining Michael as a special guest on his global arena tour; playing to millions across the globe, as far and wide as Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong. Paul joined Michael again in 2015 as special guest on the Happy & Glorious Tour; playing to sold-out crowds in arenas across the UK.
On TV, he’s most recently performed on BBC One’s Michael Mcintyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Comedy Central’s The Comedy Store and The World Stands-up. He was recently a contestant on Ch. 4`s hit show Celebrity Come Dine With Me, proving he’s not just a dazzling stand-up talent, but a whizz in the kitchen, scooping first place to win the cash prize for charity. Back in the day, when he was a mere whippersnapper he had a stint presenting Ch. 4’s The Big Breakfast and he has also presented radio shows on XFM in London and Manchester. He has just completed a stint as a Programme Associate on BBC One’s Michael Mcintyre Chat Show.
“Excellent… extremely talented… brilliant” – Time Out.
Ricky Balshaw
A quick-witted, slow walking, fast rising star, Ricky Balshaw is without question, the funniest Paralympic Dressage medallist in the UK, perhaps the world. Stepping over his cerebral palsy like it’s the mildest of inconveniences, Ricky pulls his audience into a joyfully dark world of self-depreciating hilarity. No sympathy vote is needed (or accepted) as Ricky dominates comedy stages up and down the UK. A brilliant joke-smith and storyteller, this young man has comedy greatness in his bones.
BBC New Comedian of the Year Semi Finalist 2021 & Midlands Comedy Award Winner for Best New Act, Ricky Balshaw is a Paralympic, World Championship and European Championship dressage medallist with a penchant for dark humour.
“One of the most exciting up and coming comedians of the moment” – Just the Tonic
Elaine Robertson
Elaine Robertson is famous. Elaine is the worst person in the world. Elaine saw Ian Beale on a child’s bike outside a Dominos in Newcastle*
*None of these things are true. Elaine Robertson is Delulu.
As seen on BBC3 (BBC New Comedian of the Year Regional Finalist). County Durham born Elaine Robertson has been described as ‘Laugh out loud’ (The Cherwell).
A great new talent!
*Please note line ups are occasionally subject to change.

Event Details
The Fylde Vintage, Steam & Farm Show is a beloved annual event that transports visitors back in time to experience the rich agricultural and industrial heritage of the Fylde region in Lancashire, England. This charming show typically spans a weekend, offering a delightful blend of nostalgia, entertainment, and education.
One of the main attractions of the Fylde Vintage, Steam & Farm Show is the impressive display of vintage steam engines, tractors, and agricultural machinery from a bygone era. Enthusiasts and collectors from far and wide gather to showcase their beautifully restored treasures, allowing attendees to marvel at the intricate engineering and craftsmanship of these historic machines.
In addition to the mechanical marvels, the event features a bustling market where visitors can shop for antiques, crafts, and locally produced goods. There are also interactive exhibits, such as traditional blacksmithing and woodworking demonstrations, providing a glimpse into the skills and trades that were once vital to rural life.
Food stalls offering delicious regional cuisine and live music performances add to the atmosphere, making it a fun outing for the whole family. The Fylde Vintage, Steam & Farm Show is not just a celebration of the past but also a reminder of the enduring spirit of community and the importance of preserving our heritage for future generations to appreciate and cherish.

Kings of Leon are joining the line-up for TK Maxx presents Lytham Festival 2025.
The GRAMMY award-winning, multi-platinum alternative rock band will headline the North West’s largest live music festival on Wednesday July 2. Since their debut in 2003, Kings of Leon – brothers Caleb (guitar/vocals), Nathan (drums) and Jared Followill (bass), and their cousin Matthew Followill (guitar) – have released nine studio albums selling more than 20 million copies, and almost 40 million singles worldwide.
In the UK alone, the multi-platinum selling band has reached the Top 10 with all their albums including six that hit the Number One spot.
In addition, they have had eight GRAMMY Nominations, three GRAMMY Award wins, three NME Awards, two BRIT Awards, and one Juno Award. They have toured all over the world headlining the biggest festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella, Reading & Leeds on three occasions and multiple Lollapalooza’s.
This year has seen the band complete a world tour which included a huge show at London’s BST in Hyde Park – an unprecedented record breaking fifth time they have played the iconic location – as well as release their ninth full-length studio album, Can We Please Have Fun.
Joining them will be Manic Street Preachers – one of the most influential and iconic rock bands to have come out of Wales. Manic Street Preachers have gone on to release 15 studio albums and have headlined countless festivals including Glastonbury, T in the Park, V Festival and Reading & Leeds. They have won 11 NME Awards, eight Q Awards and four BRIT Awards and were also nominated for the Mercury Prize and the MTV Europe Music Awards.
Also on the line-up is Jake Bugg. It is now 12 years since Bugg burst onto the scene at the age of just 17. His self-titled debut album was nominated for the Mercury prize and sold almost 900,000 copies, driven by the success of breakthrough single Lightning Bolt. He remains the youngest male artist to debut at Number One in the UK album charts.

The legendary Stevie Wonder is joining the line-up for TK Maxx presents Lytham Festival 2025.
The 25-time GRAMMY award-winning singer, songwriter, musician and producer will headline the North West’s largest live music festival on Thursday July 3 with his LOVE, LIGHT & SONG show – one of only three outdoor dates for the legendary singer in the UK in 2025.
Friday July 4 sees seven-time GRAMMY Award winning singer, songwriter and musician Alanis Morissette headlining with support from US singer-songwriter Liz Phair. Described by Rolling Stone as ‘one of the most important songwriters of the last 30 years’, Liz Phair has earned two GRAMMY nominations and sold more than five million records. Her most recent full-length album was 2021’s Soberish, while she has also written for TV and has published a memoir entitled Horror Stories.
Joining Morissette and Phair are multi-GRAMMY Award winners Train. Since their formation in 1994, Train’s infectious melodies and heartfelt lyrics have been captivating audiences across the globe with their signature blend of rock and pop.
Known for their critically acclaimed catalogue of chart-topping smash hits like Drops of Jupiter, Hey, Soul Sister and Drive By, Train have sold more than 10 million albums and 30 million tracks worldwide, with multiple platinum/gold citations.
And returning for their third Lytham Festival will be indie pop band Lottery Winners. With their fourth album KOKO due to be released this week, Lottery Winners will be hoping to repeat the success of 2023’s Anxiety Replacement Therapy – their first #1 in the UK’s Official Album Charts.
Lytham will then welcome multi-talented entertainer, recording artist, record producer, songwriter and actor Justin Timberlake with his The Forget Tomorrow World Tour on Saturday 5. Joining Justin will be fellow GRAMMY Award winner Jess Glynne.
London-born singer-songwriter Jess Glynne made history by becoming the first and only British female solo artist to score seven number ones on the UK Singles Chart – among them I’ll Be There, Hold My Hand and Don’t Be So Hard on Yourself. She rose to prominence in 2013 as a featured artist on the multi-platinum singles Rather B’ by Clean Bandit and My Love by Route 94 and last year Jess hit the UK’s Top Ten with her third studio album – the 15-track self-titled JESS – featuring soulful ballads and the quintessential pop anthems that have earned her the title of one of music’s most successful artists.
Ahead of Glynne’s set, Norwegian singer-songwriter Dagny will also perform. With an affinity for catchy melodies and energetic songs, Dagny is currently one of the most exciting and in-demand pop artists. More than a billion plays via streaming services, sold-out headline shows all over Europe, and more than 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify, confirm that the upbeat Tromsø native consistently succeeds in making the day a little better for everyone who listens to her music.
Up and coming new band CTRL will open the night.
And the closing night of Lytham Festival on Sunday July 6 will see a double headlining set from global rock icons and Scottish legends Simple Minds and Texas with support from Liverpudlian indie heroes Cast.
With their high-octane brand of indie rock, Cast – whose Top 10 singles include such timeless anthems as Fine Time, Sandstorm, Walkaway, Free Me, Flying and Live The Dream – released their new album Love Is The Call to widespread critical acclaim last year. Noel Gallagher once described watching Cast play live as “a religious experience”, and the band remain one of the UK’s most exciting live acts.
Also on the bill will be rock greats The Alarm, described by U2’s Bono as “The second greatest rock and roll band in the world”, while legendary music mogul Pete Waterman will kick off the night with his Hitman DJ set.
Details of special guests and supports for Stevie Wonder’s headline show will be announced soon.

The closing night of Lytham Festival on Sunday July 6 will see a double headlining set from global rock icons and Scottish legends Simple Minds and Texas.
One of the most successful bands to ever come from the UK, Simple Minds have sold more than 60 million records worldwide and enjoyed number one singles on both sides of the Atlantic.
Demand to see them perform such iconic hits as Promised You a Miracle, Glittering Prize, Someone Somewhere in Summertime, Waterfront, Alive and Kicking, Sanctify Yourself and Don’t You Forget About Me has grown year on year, with the band consistently acclaimed as one of the best live acts of their generation.
The band’s 2015 album Big Music was described by MOJO magazine as “their best album in 30 years”, and 2018’s Walk Between Worlds saw Simple Minds play their largest US tour to date while 2022’s Direction Of The Heart gave the band another Top Five album in the UK.
Over the past 10 years Simple Minds – Jim Kerr (vocals), Charlie Burchill (guitars, keyboards), Gordy Goudie (acoustic guitar), Ged Grimes (bass), Cherisse Osei (drums), Sarah Brown (vocals) and new addition to the band Erik Ljunggren (keys) – has rekindled the magic that made them a vital artistic force in their early days.
In a double headlining bill, joining Simple Minds on the final night of the 2025 festival will be fellow Glaswegians and chart-topping rock band Texas.
It is now 35 years since Texas stormed onto the music scene with debut hit I Don’t Want A Lover, and in a brilliant four-decade career the Ivor Novello winning band have sold more than 40 million records worldwide.
They have released 10 studio albums, five compilation albums and 45 singles. Most recent album – the 2023 release The Very Best Of 1989 – 2023 – proved a huge hit making the top 10 in the UK Albums Chart and included two new tracks Keep On Talking and After All sitting alongside the band’s incredible catalogue.
Known for their compelling live sound Texas, led by vocalist Sharleen Spiteri and co-founders Johnny McElhone and Ally McErlaine, remain one of the most successful Scottish bands, and their music continues to resonate with fans worldwide with newer songs sitting brilliantly alongside the band’s massive hits that include I Don’t Want A Lover, Say What You Want, Halo, Summer Sun, Getaway and Black Eyed Boy.

The Ride The Lights event is one of the most magical nights in Blackpool’s calendar when, for one night only, the six miles of Promenade will be closed to give thousands of cyclists an opportunity to get a sneak preview of the Illuminations before the official switch-on later that week. Ride at any point along the promenade from Starr Gate at South Shore to Red Bank Road in Bispham. You can ride as much or as little of the route as you are able.
Why not join in the creative fun by designing your very own Illuminations display on your bike? Decorate your ride with colourful lights, lamps and lanterns to show off your illuminations design ideas. Light your ride… then ride the lights!
Times: 7pm-10pm
Ride The Lights is not a bike race, it’s a fun and FREE bike ride open to all. A great opportunity to get out and about on your bike with both family and friends.

A partnership between Fylde Council and kite fliers SmileFactor10 with support from St Anne’s Town Council. The fabulous international kite festival returns to St Anne’s on Sea and will feature single line kites of all shapes and sizes, including inflatable octopus, flying cows, stingrays, whales, dogs and even hippos. Plus 2-line and 4-line stunt kites. It is a superb spectacle and the sky fills with plenty of colour and you can marvel at the expertise of kite flyers from the UK and all over the world.
Based either side of St Annes Pier, there will be specially a designated arena – the David Lidstone Arena to the left of the pier, with commentary from the kite fliers about their displays and encouraging you to watch the fabulous spectacle.
The event is entirely weather dependent and the planned programme may change at short notice due to operational constraints or weather conditions. Please note a dog exclusion zone exists either side of St Annes pier and is clearly marked, but you can watch the display with your four legged friend from the Promenade or on the beach in the kite flying zones beyond the dog restriction area.
Planned kite flying timings (subject to change due to weather or reasons beyond control of the kite fliers):
- Friday 29th – 12 noon to 10pm
- Saturday 30th – 11am to 5pm (fairground to 10pm)
- Sunday 31st – 11am to 4pm
We urge you to research and use existing car parks in St Annes away from the front as it will be very busy. There will be additional event parking clearly signposted. There are plenty of bus services, plus train link into St Annes on the Sea train station which is approximately 800 yards away from the front.

Lancashire Steam & Vintage Festival Show is a NEW event that transports visitors back in time to experience the rich agricultural and industrial heritage of the Lancashire region in Lancashire, England. This charming show typically spans a weekend, offering a delightful blend of nostalgia, entertainment, and education.
One of the main attractions of the Lancashire Steam & Vintage Festival Show is the impressive display of vintage steam engines, tractors, and agricultural machinery from a bygone era.
The Lancashire Steam & Vintage Festival is not just a celebration of the past but also a reminder of the enduring spirit of community and the importance of preserving our heritage for future generations to appreciate and cherish.
