Join Pudsey Bear and his band of merry ramblers as they walk from Fairhaven Lake to the iconic Lytham Windmill and back to raise much needed money for Children In Need. There’s refreshments along the route, plus toilets, it’s on the flat, fully accessible promenade overlooking the Ribble Estuary.

Timeless Voices of Jazz brings together Strictly Come Dancing’s Lance Ellington, acclaimed Ronnie Scott’s resident vocalist Natalie Williams, and an outstanding band of leading UK jazz musicians, including members of the Ronnie Scott’s All Stars.

The show celebrates some of the greatest singers and songs in jazz, bringing to life the timeless music of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Nina Simone, Tony Bennett and more.

Lance Ellington will be familiar to millions from his many years performing on Strictly Come Dancing. The son of legendary bandleader Ray Ellington, Lance has also worked with artists including Michael Jackson, Tina Turner and Quincy Jones, and has a lifelong connection with the music of Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Tony Bennett.

Natalie Williams is one of the UK’s most respected jazz and soul vocalists and a resident vocalist at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club.

The exhibition is a curated presentation of eclectic artworks that have previously been omitted from exhibitions because they did not fit thematic constraints, shown alongside recent acquisitions that have not yet been displayed.

By ensuring these treasures are accessible to the community, the exhibition highlights the importance of keeping historical collections alive, dynamic, and evolving through conscientious curation.

Visitors will have the opportunity to appreciate these nineteenth and twentieth century artworks on their own merits, observe how a public collection grows over time, and explore how regional heritage finds its rightful place on the gallery walls.

Bringing the community together for a great cause this Christmas!

Established in 2010, Setantii MCC is a small, community-focused motorcycle club with a big heart and a passion for supporting local causes.

For over a decade, we’ve proudly supported Brian House Children’s Hospice, organising our annual Easter and Christmas Toy Runs to bring smiles, comfort and a little extra joy to children and young people who need it most.

This year, on Sunday 29th November, we’re inviting the whole Fylde Coast community to get involved in our Christmas Toy Run!

Whether you ride a motorcycle, trike or scooter, we’d love you to join us. Everyone is welcome to come along, show their support and contribute to this wonderful local charity. We’re encouraging donations of whatever people can spare, whether that’s cash, toys, clothing, duvets or other suitable items for children and young people up to the age of 21.

We’d love this wonderful community to stand alongside us, meet the riders, enjoy the atmosphere and help us spread a little Christmas cheer across the Fylde Coast. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.

The Fylde Ice Festival is back again! After its successful visit to Lytham in 2026, this popular daylong event will return to Fylde once again and this time take place in the centre of Kirkham in 2027. Come and have a go on the ice carving wall on Market Square, see a number of pre carved ice sculptures around town on the ice trail with themes linked to Kirkham, plus watch a live carving demonstration take place in front of your very eyes with Ice experts GLACIAL ART ICE SCULPTORS

One of the biggest names in comedy, Ed Byrne, returns with a brand-new show and absolutely No Dramas as he hits the road in 2027.

Come, hear the conquistador of petty gripes air his grievances with a world hell bent on irritating the bejeezus out of us all and, who knows, perhaps it will make you feel better about your own bouts of impotent rage.

Kings of Leon will headline the opening night of Lytham Festival.

The Lancashire date is one of just two northern UK shows for the band next summer, along with two sold out nights at London’s The O2 and a headline appearance at the Isle of Wight Festival. Kings of Leon’s rich tour history includes headlining the world’s biggest and most prestigious festivals, such as Glastonbury, Coachella, numerous Lollapalooza’s, and the UK’s Reading and Leeds on three occasions, as well as a record equalling five nights at London’s massive Hyde Park.

Special guests on the night will be multi-platinum selling Bastille. Over the course of more than a decade, Bastille’s distinctive sound and cinematic songwriting have connected with audiences across the globe like few other British bands in recent memory.

Their chart-topping, twice No.1 debut album Bad Blood features the era-defining hit Pompeii, which immediately positioned them as the year’s biggest global breakthrough act. The band then won the British Breakthrough Act award at the BRITs and received two GRAMMY nominations. Bad Blood has since gone triple platinum.

Further No.1 albums followed with Wild World, Give Me The Future and Doom Days and the acclaimed documentary Bastille Re-Orchestrated. Superstar DJ and award-winning producer Fatboy Slim will head to the Lancashire coast next summer to headline the North West’s largest live music festival.

It is announced today The Rockafeller Skank and Right Here Right Now star will bring his big beats and incredible live show to Lytham Festival on Friday July 2.

He will be supported on the night by special guest dance pop queen Becky Hill.

Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor said: “Fatboy Slim is simply an icon. This is a night I have wanted to schedule for a long time so I can’t wait to welcome him to Lytham.

“His shows are the stuff of legend and I have every confidence this will be a huge night filled with some of the best beats the world of electronic music has to offer.

“I’m also really looking forward to welcoming Becky Hill back to Lytham. It will be nine years since she was last here and her career just goes from strength to strength so it will be a pleasure to see her return to our stage.

“With Robbie Williams headline show selling out in record time and now adding Fatboy Slim to the mix, it is safe to say we are looking at a very exciting Lytham Festival 2027.”

One of electronic music’s most iconic figures, since the late 90s Fatboy Slim, aka Norman Cook, continues to create experiences for fans worldwide. This month marks the 30th anniversary of his debut album under the Fatboy Slim moniker, Better Living Through Chemistry. Featuring singles including Everybody Needs A 303, Punk to Funk and Going Out Of My Head, the seminal album saw Cook blend hip-hop, funk, house, reggae and indie.

Fast-forward three decades, and Cook remains as relevant today as he did when he first broke onto the scene. With his shoes off and his trademark Hawaiian shirt on, his reach spans the globe and with more than 100 performances at Glastonbury along with headline stages from Rio to Coachella and Ibiza to underground clubs, his trip to Lytham Festival will be a night of hedonistic energy.

Special guest will be Becky Hill, who first performed at Lytham Festival alongside Pete Tong in 2018. A two-time BRIT Award winning artist, Becky has exceeded 10 billion career streams to date, six UK Top 10 hits, a number 1 single, and her debut album Only Honest On The Weekend soared into the Top 10 on release and was certified Gold.

Alongside her success as a recording artist, Becky is also a formidable live performer, with exceptional sets at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, Parklife and Creamfields, alongside a sold-out UK and Ireland arena headline tour. Returning to Lytham with Fatboy Slim will mark another huge show for the singer who first came to prominence after reaching the semi-finals of TV’s The Voice UK back in 2012.

Closing Lytham Festival 2027 will be Irish pop-rock legends The Corrs along with multi-platinum artist David Gray.

Ireland’s first family of music, The Corrs are a multi-million selling sibling quartet who have conquered the world with a seamless blend of sleek pop rock, lush harmonies and Celtic folk trimmings.

Comprising Andrea (lead vocals, piano, tin whistle), Sharon (violin, piano, vocals), Caroline (drums, piano, vocals) and Jim (guitar, keyboards, vocals), the band have sold more than 40 million albums since their debut Forgiven, Not Forgotten in 1995, followed in 1997 by UK Number 1 album Talk on Corners.

Breathless released in 2000 gave them their first UK Number 1, with accompanying album In Blue going straight to Number 1 in 17 countries.

The group returned to the stage in 2023, with sold out shows across Southeast Asia and Australia and have been on the road ever since, celebrating their back catalogue of hits and making a fresh commitment to writing new music.

David Gray has spent almost three decades crafting a signature sound that fuses acoustic warmth with electronic innovation. Ahead of The Corrs and David Gray the festival will welcome two special guests – You Give Me Something hitmaker James Morrison and singer-songwriter Emily Rhodes.

20 years into his career, James Morrison’s music still simmers with the soul, emotion and quiet authority that have defined one of the UK’s most enduring singer-songwriters.

Across that time, he has amassed two UK number 1 albums, five UK Top 10 singles, multiple Platinum-certified releases and a BRIT Awards win, alongside millions of global sales. Last autumn saw him achieve his highest chart position in 14 years with his seventh album, the Top 5 record Fight Another Day.

One of the UK’s most distinctive and respected artists, Morrison has earned a reputation as a highly regarded live performer, continuing to sell out tours and reaffirming his lasting connection with audiences.

Meanwhile, Lancashire-based Emily Rhodes returns to Lytham after first performing on the festival’s BBC Introducing stage in 2019. Having only recently graduated from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, the Americana-inspired songwriter and performer hit the headlines at the end of summer after being invited by comedian Peter Kay to perform her new single live on stage at his sold-out show at London’s The O2.

A close partnership between Fylde Council and kite fliers SmileFactor10 with support from St Anne’s Town Council. The fabulous international kite festival returns to St Anne’s on Sea and will feature single line kites of all shapes and sizes, including inflatable octopus, flying cows, stingrays, whales, dogs and even hippos. Plus 2-line and 4-line stunt kites. It is a superb spectacle and the sky fills with plenty of colour and you can marvel at the expertise of kite flyers from the UK and all over the world.

Based either side of St Annes Pier, there will be specially a designated arena – the David Lidstone Arena to the left of the pier, with commentary from the kite fliers about their displays and encouraging you to watch the fabulous spectacle. Plus, for 2026 an artisan market featuring local producers in the Promenade Gardens.

The event is entirely weather dependent and the planned programme may change at short notice due to operational constraints or weather conditions. Please note a dog exclusion zone exists either side of St Annes pier and is clearly marked, but you can watch the display with your four legged friend from the Promenade or on the beach in the kite flying zones beyond the dog restriction area.

Planned kite flying timings (subject to change due to weather or reasons beyond control of the kite fliers):

• Friday 10th – 12 noon to 10pm
• Saturday 11th – 11am to 5pm (the fairground will operate into the evening)
• Sunday 12th – 11am to 4pm

We urge you to research and use existing car parks in St Annes away from the front as it will be very busy. There will be additional event parking clearly signposted. There are plenty of bus services, plus train link into St Annes on the Sea train station which is approximately 800 yards away from the front.
