Fylde Council and Lytham Hall are inviting on local residents to support the Gallery’s growing popularity by joining a new team of enthusiastic volunteers.

Fylde Gallery, based in the historic Lytham Hall, features a year-round changing programme of curated exhibitions from the Lytham St Annes Art Collection. As visitor numbers continue to increase, volunteers are needed to enhance the visitor experience and showcase the best of what the Gallery has to offer.

Volunteers play a vital role in welcoming visitors, supporting exhibitions and sharing the story of Fylde’s rich heritage. The role offers a unique opportunity to engage with the arts while contributing to the local community.

Councillor Jayne Nixon, Lead Member for Tourism, Leisure and Culture, commented: “The success of our gallery depends on the passion and dedication of our volunteer team. This is a wonderful opportunity for people to get involved with our vibrant arts scene while helping to preserve and promote our local heritage.

“Whether you have a background in the arts or simply want to give back to your community, your contribution will make a real difference to visitors from near and far.”

No previous experience is necessary, and full training will be provided. Volunteers may commit as little or as much time as they are able to, with flexible shifts available to accommodate various schedules.
