Event Details
2026 will be the first time Shepherd Road allotments has participated in the scheme.
We will be opening the allotment site on Saturday 18th July between 10am -3pm and entry will be £5, which will go to the NGS to support their charities.
As I’m sure you are aware, the allotment site at Shepherd Road is an amazing and award-winning haven and has lots to see:

Wildlife area, designed to support all forms of wildlife and where we provide a safe space for rehabilitating hedgehogs from the local hedgehog rescue.

Marram Grass – We support the Fylde Rangers’ sand dune conservation projects by growing and nuturing marram grass plants

170 plots growing flowers and vegetables
In addition, we will be selling plants/produce and will have light refreshments available, the sale of which will raise money for the St Anne’s RNLI.
The event will be cash only.
Children and dogs are welcome (dogs on leads).
The track around the site is quite rough and in some areas maybe unsuitable for wheelchairs.
