Event Details

Brendan Cuffe Artist Known in the art world as Cuffian, I was born and educated in Lytham where I still reside. I gained a BA French degree from the University of Leicester in 2002. I began painting during lockdown and, having taught myself, quickly gained recognition in the art world. I was selected to represent England at the Qatar International Art Festival in 2021, and have displayed my artworks in galleries across Europe, Milan, Athens and Madrid. Recently I have been exhibiting across Scotland and northern England, as part of the Abstract Amigos, and have sold artworks to collectors across the world.

John James Park Artist

I live in Scotland on the Solway Coast close to the border with England. Known as Parko from an early age, but officially John James Park MSc. Born in Carlisle Cumbria, educated at Secondary School Level. In Childhood my artistic ability gained praise from my mentors & peers. After leaving school, I served an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering as a Printing Engineer. Engineering gave me the skills to work in metal & metal sculptures soon followed. I was recognised in the Cumbria Life Magazine as a Metal Sculptor. I produced works that sold in galleries all over the UK and most prestigiously in Harrods of London. I have progressed from sculpture to painting Abstracts & Landscapes now. I love working in plein air producing my landscapes from all locations that I visit. My Abstracts are creations from past present & future; they come from nowhere – I just put marks on paper or canvas, add colour and move it around and a creation always appears, then from this basic form I develop the finished image. I advanced my education later in life, I studied & gained a master’s degree in science at The University of Portsmouth & conducted PhD Research in Environmental Science at the University of Sunderland. All my knowledge & experience gained throughout my working life allows me to be creative & my art is my expression of this.

Please note the venue is closed on Mondays. Free entry, with donations always welcome
